How do I upload a CSV using the Web Portal

First you need to make sure you have the correct version of Directory Manager, in order to do this log into the Web Portal and click About Directory Manager at the top of the screen you will see a table showing Installed Components, these will need to be 3.2.15 for this feature to work.

 

If you have 3.2.15 Installed

once you have logged into the Directory Manager portal you can follow the below steps:

  1.  click on the menu item about About Directory Manager called File Manager.
    • On this page there are 2 tabs “recent Inputs” and “CSV Uploads”
  2. Select CSV Upload
    • There will be a line item here for each CSV you have, you will need to make sure you are uploading the correct CSV file into the correct line.
  3. Select the Choose File button > Find & Select your CSV file > Click Upload

Depending on your configuration settings it may take a few minutes  or longer to process the CSV file. Going back to the Recent Inputs tab will show you when your file has been received and you will shortly start to see System Matching and Pending transactions start to populate from your newly submitted data.

If you do not have 3.2.15 Installed

If your site is not on v3.2.15 or later CSV uploading must be done via the file share rather than via the Directory Manager Portal, should you wish to have this feature please reach out to the BDS Service Desk to arrange an upgrade.
