How do I unreject a record from System Matching?

How do I unreject a record from System Matching?

To undo a rejection from System Matching, perform the following steps;

  1. In the left menu, click “Digital Directory”
  2. In the search box, type “REJECT” (without the quotes) and click “Find”
  3. A new search window will appear with a dropdown and textbox
  4. From the dropdown, select the record type you want to search for, e.g. Active Directory, ESR, Portal or CSV
  5. In the search box, enter some information about the person you are looking for. This can be the first name, last name or a unique ID such as the AD GUID if it’s an Active Directory record for example.
    • You can also leave the search box blank and it will search for all the records of the type selected in the dropdown. This is handy if you want a complete list of rejected records.
  6. Click the “Find” button
  7. If no records appear, try searching for a different piece of information about the user
  8. Once the record appears, you can unreject it by click the “Unlink” button next to the record. It will ask if you are sure, click yes.
  9. The record will now go back through the matching process and will either be automatically linked or will end up in System Matching to be manually linked.

If after trying all combinations, if the record does not appear and you are certain it has been rejected, please contact the BDS Service Desk.
