What should I do if I am unable to link a System Match because there is an existing link?

Directory Manager will only allow one Active Directory (ADI) link to a Digital Profile or PDI (Personal Digital Identity). If the incoming match is for an AD account then you will need to investigate which account is valid. If they both are, for example on is a standard user account and the other is an Admin account you can use Profiles, you will need to contact BDS Service Desk for the use of profiles to be setup.

If the incoming record for the system match is from another data source, ESR, CSV, NHM, AZU then it is possible to to configure DM to allow Multiple links, please contact BDS Service Desk and ask for Multi Match to be enabled for that data source.
