Can I change the default timeout for the Web Portal?

Can I change the default timeout for the Web Portal?
Yes, you can change the default timeout for accessing the web portal to make it take longer before you are automatically logged out. Please contact the BDS Service Desk to let us know what you would like it changed to.
The default Web Portal timeout is 10 minutes but this can be extended to anything you like, however we do not recommend going beyond 30 minutes for security reasons.
If you are happy with users being allowed to be permanently logged in, then we can set the login method to Windows Authentication which will automatically log in as the user signed in to the windows session, using this method the portal will not time out.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a global variable and will apply to all users
