How can I tell why a record is showing as a Conflict match?
A Conflict occurs when a record matches another record enough to surpass the linking threshold but there is a difference in one of the major identifiers which suggests the records may not be the same.
The Major Identifiers are:
- NI Number
- Date of Birth
- NHSUniqueID
- Smartcard Number (UUID)
- Email Address
When reviewing the match you can see what could have caused the conflict by hovering over the score in the weighting column.
