Directory Manager now features NHSmail User Policy Management, enabling NHS Trusts to automate the management of application licencing using configurable business rules.
By associating user policies to licences within Office365, Directory Manager is able to ensure the right applications are assigned to the appropriate users, dependent on users’ employment status, e.g. based on job role or department.
Together with Directory Manager’s new Azure Licence Management feature, NHSmail User Policy Management provides a robust toolset to ensure Trusts remain within their N365 licence allocation, minimising the risk of additional unexpected costs.
“Automation of core licence management functions helps NHS Trusts to manage frequent employment changes. Setting up a defined workflow for new starters, movers and leavers within Directory Manager, ensures that Trusts maintain control over the process, whilst also removing manual, time-heavy processes or unforeseen additional costs,” said Nick Goodland, Product Director, BDS Solutions.
BDS Solutions Directory Manager enables Trusts to effectively and automatically manage changes within ESR, Active Directory and email messaging platforms, such as Exchange, NHSmail (Exchange Online) and O365.
