Enquiry Agent is an easy to use utility for finding and viewing people's employee information
Enquiry Agent interfaces with local directories to access address book information. Multiple directory sources can be accessed at the same time and certain national directories can also be accessed.
Each directory source is represented by an icon. When clicked a connection is made to the directory and the folder structure displayed. The content of each folder is listed, displaying users, contacts and distribution lists (user objects). In this way, the entire directory structure can be navigated.
Individual user objects can be selected and their full contact information displayed (if provided). This includes full names, Job Titles, Address, Telephone Numbers, Work areas, organisation details and more. Users can then choose to send email to that person by clicking the To / CC / BCC buttons and can use the other information for other means of communication, e.g., via telephone.
Enquiry Agent can be configured to search multiple directory sources, i.e., local directory on the organisations network and if no positive match is found the query can be automatically forwarded to a community based directory server. Other directory service locations such as those based on the Internet can be added to the search pattern if required.

The Download Suite
Enquiry Agent is also a member of the download suite. This is a set of products used together to allow the downloading and local creation of address books from external sources.
Enquiry Agent allows the user to browse the external source and then specify an exact download criteria. This can contain contacts to include, folders to include, directory information and more. This is then saved and is then executed automatically at a user defined interval. These downloaded address books are then imported onto the local directory for use.

Enquiry Agent is designed as a desktop product to be used throughout an organisation. To aid deployments, Enquiry Agent is available in one-touch install form as well as on standard CD.
Configuration files can be created and published to the Internet. These are processed by Enquiry Agent on install, automatically setting up the software for use..
