Directory Manager™ - Product Information
Directory Manager automates Active Directory management. By connecting to a data within a Human Resources (HR) system, the software automates the creation of accounts for new staff, application of changes to existing accounts and the expiration of leavers. All changes made to the HR data are replicated on the directory by Directory Manager, removing the need for manual directory administration.
Directory Manager™ provides the following:
- automated management of Microsoft Active Directory™ and Exchange™
- control of account lifecycle from creation of accounts to disablement of leavers
- automated email notification of staff changes to system administrators
- audit logging of directory changes providing evidence for information governance
- a directory portal for searches that permits staff to submit changes to their own record
- creation of independent secondary directories for sharing with external organisations
- establishment of an accessible database for use by in-house developers
- extensibility interfaces to simplify the development of electronic business processes

The following items can be used if they already exist in the target environment into which Directory Manager is to be installed, otherwise they can be installed specifically for Directory Manager.
