The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust is an acute general teaching hospital situated in Archway, in the north of Islington and primarily serves the communities of north Islington and west Haringey, a population of approximately 250,000 people. Barking Havering & Redbridge Hospitals NHS Trust (BHR) serves a population of around 700,000, making it one of the largest acute hospital trusts in England. BHR needed to replace it's existing legacy server infrastructure for messaging and domain infrastructure. The Trust chose BDS Solutions to consolidate their legacy server infrastructure onto new HP server hardware.

ICT Server Infrastructure Refresh - Wiltshire PCT

Wiltshire PCT IT department has 18 employees and provides IT services for Wiltshire County Council staff and 3000 staff in the district of Wiltshire & Swindon. Wiltshire PCT needed to consolidate it's existing server infrastructure for messaging, file and data storage and required a network backup solution.

BDS Solutions were chosen to consolidate their legacy server infrastructure onto new server hardware. In addition, BDS Solutions also provided consultancy for the migration of the Trust's legacy Microsoft Exchange 2000 clustered server to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, the implementation of a new Microsoft Windows 2003 File and Print cluster, a new Microsoft SQL2000 data cluster and the deployment of the new enterprise backup solution.

ESR Active Directory Integration - North Cheshire Hospitals

In 2001 the Trust were faced with the task of creating and maintaining email accounts for every employee. To reduce the risk of security issues occurring and the dependency on increasing expensive technical resources, North Cheshire Hospitals identified the need for a new approach to managing computer user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory.

ESR Active Directory Integration - Mersey Care

Mersey Care NHS Trust introduced a service to automate their Active Directory user management using data from their Human Resources system.

To reduce the risk of security issues occurring and the dependency on expensive technical resources, Mersey Care NHS Trust identified the need for a new approach to managing computer user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory. The Trust opted to use BDS Solutions Directory Manager to automate directory administration using data from the national NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system as the source.
