Other Settings Click on the Other Settings tab to show the Other Settings:
The options on this tab change the way Enquiry Agent sends emails and behaves on screen. Also on this tab are advanced settings for accessing sources and the button to convert distribution lists. Current Mail Mode This displays the Outlook version being used by Enquiry Agent to send emails. By Default Send Mail via.. Enquiry Agent can send email using SMTP or X400 protocols. The protocol used can be set here. Enquiry Agent can also attempt to use both protocols. NOTE: X400 is a protocol rarely used. Enquiry Agent should be set to use SMTP. Further Settings Always post addresses to current message window When selected, clicking either the To, CC, or BCC buttons will add the selected email address to a currently open new email. This allows multiple addresses to be added to one email. If there are no new emails open, one will be created. If not selected, you will be prompted as to whether to add email addresses to already open emails or to create another new email. Shrink Enquiry Agent when working with mail message after x seconds When selected, after clicking either the To, CC, or BCC buttons, Enquiry Agent will shrink to just a title bar after the number of seconds entered. See Enquiry Agent on Screen for more information. Minimise when shrinking (i.e. go to taskbar) When Enquiry Agent is set to shrink, selecting this option will make Enquiry Agent minimise to the task bar instead of shrinking to a title bar. See Enquiry Agent on Screen for more information. This option will be greyed out if Enquiry Agent is not set to shrink. Remain active after making selections When an email has been sent, Enquiry Agent minimises to the icon in the system tray (next to the clock). Selecting this will keep Enquiry Agent open after sending emails. Remain on top after making selections Enquiry Agent normally shrinks or goes into the background after adding email addresses or sending emails. Selecting this option keeps Enquiry Agent on top of any other programs and mail messages at this time. Use nhs.net email address (if present) as default Some people may have an NHS email address (ending @nhs.net). Selecting this option will display this address first in the email address list and will be used when adding to an email message. Advanced Settings Prompting to display entries When browsing folders, Enquiry Agent can either display all the people in that folder, prompt whether to display all the people in the folder or not retrieve any people. This option relates more to browsing the NHS National Directory where large folders can take some time to return. National Directory Settings These settings relate to browsing the NHS National Directory and should not be altered without prior guidance from BDS Solutions. Export Enquiry Agent can export the content of a folder or a search. This is saved to either a BDS-format or CSV format text file in the installation folder, under 'Export Files'. Turning this option on will add an "Export" button to the toolbar. Convert Distribution Lists See Converting Outlook Lists for more information.
