Converting Outlook Personnel Distribution Lists Enquiry Agent distribution lists are kept separate from the distribution lists created by Outlook. Enquiry Agent cannot work with the Outlook lists directly, but it does provide the facility to convert Outlook lists into Enquiry Agent lists. NOTE: Enquiry Agent only works with personal distribution lists found in the Contacts folder in Outlook. To do this, open the Config form by clicking the "Config" button:
Then click on the "Other Settings" tab to display the following screen:
Next click on the "Convert Distribution Lists" button. You will be prompted to confirm that you do wish to open the Convert Lists screen. Click Yes to continue:
Enquiry Agent will then display all the personal distribution lists that are stored in Outlook. Any lists that have already been converted into Enquiry Agent lists will be shown in bold blue type.
To view the members of the list, click in the List Members column and then on the "..." button that appears. To convert a list, select it from the list and click "Convert". You will be prompted to enter a name and an optional description. Ensure that the name has not been used to name another list. Then click OK to convert the list. The list will be converted and will appear in the Lists screen. Re-setting a list Lists that have been converted are listed in bold blue. It is possible to re-set these lists so that they can be converted again. To do this, click on an already converted list and click on Convert. You will be prompted to confirm the reset.
Click Yes and the list will be reset. This list can then be converted again.
