Looking at the User Interface

The interface consists of the following components:

Tool Bar

The tool bar contains buttons for all the main functions of Directory Manager.

Tabbed Pane

There are four panes in Directory Manager, each of which contains settings or actions relating to a particular area. Each pane can be accessed by clicking the tab at the bottom.

• Files Pending– this is used for managing the data source extracts
• Receipt Settings– these settings relate to automating registration of extract files
• Process Settings– these settings relate to when and how Directory Manager processes extract files
• Servers– this is used for managing the server administered by Directory Manager

Logos for BDS Solutions and Directory Manager are displayed at the bottom. These are each hyperlinked to the BDS Solutions web site.
