System Requirements

Directory Manager must be installed directly onto an Exchange server. Directory Manager can work with the following Exchange versions:

  • Windows 2000 Server
  • Windows Server 2003

The following dependencies are required:

Windows 2000 Server

  • Windows Service Pack 3
  • Exchange Service Pack 3
  • Exchange admin tools

Windows Server 2003

  • Exchange admin tools

The user account used to run Directory Manager must have sufficient permissions on the target directory (including account creation, folder creation, assigning of rights, mailbox creation).

If profiles are to be managed, the folders being used to store these user profiles (Home, Profile and WTS) must have the correct share permissions.

Directory Manager requires the following minimum system requirements:

  • 2Ghz processor
  • 1024MB RAM
  • 500MB Hard Disk Space
  • 800 * 600 screen resolution
