The Preview Report

The Preview Report is generated when "Enable previews" option is turned on the Process Settings tab. The report shows what would happen if the registered extract file is processed.

To view the report, enable previews, register an extract file on the Files Pending tab and then click Process. The report will be generated once Directory Manager has compiled the changes.

The report lists all actions that will take place:

  • Add - users that will be added to the directory
  • Existing - users that will be updated
  • Move - users that will be moved to a different OU on the directory
  • Purge - users that will be disabled
  • Renamed - users that have a different surname value

Where secondary actions will take place, these will be listed in the Actions column.

The report can be exported in a number of formats. Click on the Export button to display the Export Options. Select a format and destination and click OK.
