Installing

This section provides an overview of the installation process. For more detail, refer to the Installation Guide located in the "Documentation" folder on the software CD.

  • Insert the software CD into the CD-ROM drive
  • Run the setup.exe found in the root of the CD
  • Follow the on-screen instructions
  • Once the install has completed, run the software from the Start > Programs menu
  • When prompted, enter the product application key. This will have been provided by BDS Solutions
  • Close Directory Manager and run the User Admin Pack application and follow the on screen messages
  • Finally, install the BDS Solutions Console application. Run the console.msi found on the installation disk.

This completes the installation. Directory Manager will now be ready for configuration.
