Folder Access Rights

Folder access rights cannot be applied in 'real-time' by the import process because of delays in the directory creating security descriptors on user objects. A period of up to several hours may be required for all the rights to be applied to the newly created user objects.

The log is maintained in the installation directory until the next process is run. If the action log records "NORIGHTS" at any point the cause must be investigated and, once resolved, the rights log can be processed separately. There is a program called "rights.exe" in the Directory Manager install folder that can be used to process rights logs.
