Using Templates

Templates are a way of adding standard data to all objects within a folder. Attribute information can be added to a template and this will be applied to any objects that have no value in those attributes.

To open the template form, go to Container Actions > View Template or right-click a folder in the Directory Browser panel and click View Template.

When viewing an object, any empty attributes that are completed on the template will be added. These will be shown in blue. The object must be selected or saved for the information to be saved to the internal database.
