Object Panel

This panel displays the content of the selected folder in the Directory Browser panel.

Each object is listed along with its Display Name and its Status. Other field columns can also be displayed as can be seen in the screenshot.

Objects can be then be selected in this panel to have their information displayed in the Attributes panel.

To refresh the content of the Objects panel, re-click the folder in the Directory Browser panel.

To change the columns used, see Further Settings.

NOTE: By default, for directory sources, only user objects are displayed. To view other objects in this panel, see "Filter" in Add & Edit Data Sources. For database sources, all objects are shown.

Views

Different "views" can be applied to display objects with a particular status. Click on View on the toolbar and then select a view to apply. The current view is listed next to the Objects panel label and also in the status bar.

The available views are:

  • All - every object is listed
  • Changes - objects that have changed since they were last saved
  • Selected - all objects that have been selected for export
  • Excluded - all objects that have been specifically excluded from export
  • Pending - all objects that have not been selected nor excluded
  • Invalid - all objects that fail any applied validation rules

NOTE: If it appears some objects are missing, check which view is currently is use. Switch back to the "All" view to see all the objects in the folder.

Deleted Objects

Objects that have been deleted from the data source will be marked as "deleted" in the status column. These will then be removed the next time the folder is refreshed.
