Pull Connectors

National Directory Pull connectors use a data source to "pull" information from on a scheduled basis. This source is configured in the nhs.net application and can be one of the following types:

  • Active Directory
  • MS SQL Server
  • MySQL

The object data prepared by Directory Integrator can be used to feed any of these data soucres. This is in combination with other software tools.

NOTE: The Pull connector must be set-up beforehand using nhs.net.

Active Directory

The export files submitted by Directory Integator can be used to populate an area on Active Directory which can then be used as the source for the connector.

The BDS Solutions product Contact Manager imports export files and creates a fully managed directory.

MS SQL Server / MySQL

The information in the internal database can be read and published to either a MS SQL Server or MySQL service.

The BDS Solutions product SQLconnect performs this task and manages the ongoing update of the SQL service.
