The User Interface

Below is a screenshot of Contact Manager:

The interface consists of the following components:

Tool Bar

The tool bar contains buttons for all the main functions of Contact Manager.

Tabbed Pane

There are four panes in Contact Manager, each of which contains settings or actions relating to a particular area. Each pane can be accessed by clicking the tab at the bottom.

  • Files Pending– this is used for managing source address books.
  • Receipt Settings– these settings relate to automating registration of address books.
  • Process Settings– these settings relate to when and how Contact Manager processes address books.
  • Servers– this is used for managing the servers administered by Contact Manager.

Logo bar

Logos for BDS Solutions and Contact Manager are displayed at the bottom. These are each hyper-linked to the BDS Solutions web site.
