The Tool Bar All of the functions carried out by Contact Manager are represented by the buttons on the toolbar.
Each of these is described below: Save and Close This button closes the software. Depending on how the software has been configured, Contact Manager will either close to the system tray to continue running in background or else will exit completely. The following configuration options will result in Contact Manager closing to the system tray: With any or all of these set, Contact Manager can continue monitoring the mail queue / file system or process files as an icon placed in the system tray. NOTE: Clicking Save and Close is the only point that changes made to the configuration are saved. Rules This button opens the Rules Engine interface. A server must have been configured on the Servers pane before the Rules Engine will open. Report This button will open the statistics report. Process This buttons starts the processing of any registered address books. Only use this button once the software and the Rules Engine have been configured as required. If no files are listed on the Files Pending tab then no action will take place. File Store This button opens up the file store and database management screen. Help This button opens these on-line help pages. These help pages provide a complete guide to configuring and using Contact Manager. This displays the application key and the current version number of the software.
