Action Logs, Logs

Files generated by Contact Manager after each import of address books, highlighting what action took place for each entry.

Address Books

Files containing people information that will be used to create contacts on a directory. This information may include names, organisation information, contact details, email addresses and more.

File System

The files and folders on the local drives or network drives.

Import, Importing

The process of taking address book files and passing them through Contact Manager to create directory contacts.

Install folder

The location on the computer where Contact Manager has been installed (e.g. c:\Program Files\BDS Solutions\STABLE Directory Manager)

Mail Queue

The inbox of the Outlook profile the software is configured to use.

System tray

The part of the task bar in Windows that contains notification icons (otherwise known as the notification area) next to the clock.
